Several business people are counting losses after a fire burnt down their stalls on Monday night in Nairobi's Gikomba market According to witnesses, the fire started at around 7pm burning several business stalls in its path, as well as a two storey residential buildings. Affected business owners have expressed their frustration with the county government, due to its late response since only one fire engine was sent to the market to extinguish the blaze. According to some stall owners, a faulty transformer could have caused the night inferno. This is the second time in as many days that stalls at the Gikomba market have been burnt down
