Six petrified punters had to wait for two hours 200 feet in the sky after an amusement ride stalled before they were rescued.
The chair-o-plane stopped at it's highest point at Tramore Amusement and Leisure Park in Co Waterford.
Emergency services rushed to the scene when it became clear that the ride wasn't going to move.
A cherry-picker was used to rescue the stranded six people, who were two families on holiday from Tyrone.
Ann Hoctor and her daughters Shannon and Leah were down from Dublin for a two day holiday along with Amanda Brewer and her two daughter's Alisha Brewer and Alisha Timoney who are from Shrinone, Co.Tyrone.
The Brewer's were enjoying a few days in the holiday resort and all staying at the caravan park.
A mechanical fault caused the ride to stop.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
