Head on collision in Rongo

Six people narrowly escaped death after two lorries they were travelling in were involved in a road accident along Rongo District, Migori County near kanga shopping center. The two lorries carrying sacks of maize and shoes were heading to Nairobi from Migori County. The injured victims were rushed to Rongo district hospital for treatment. Area police boss, James Ngetich confirmed the incident and urged drivers to stop speeding during this rainy season. The drivers are appealing to the government to expand the road because it is too narrow and may cause more accidents if not expanded.
